The Omphalos Sink is the latest collaboration between the Concreteworks Oakland Studio and Orgydiak Prillinger Architects. Designed by Luke Orgydiak and Zoë Prillinger , the Omphalos , meaning navel in Greek, was created using Rhino, CNC milling technology and our in-house mold-making team. The Omphalos Sink installed at the Gallery House is a form inspired by a Greek Myth about a stone wrapped in clothes.  The Gallery House in San Francisco’s South Park will be featured during the upcoming AIA National  Convention in May. Similar innovations are underway . More photos of Omphalos can be seen here and additional Concreteworks/OPA collaborations here.
